Carmelgiri Seminary Literary association co-ordinates all the cultural and literary events in the seminary. It creates opportunities to explore the talents of the seminarians and takes initiatives in organizing all the
celebrations in the seminary.
In order to bring out the literary and artistic talents of the seminarians different literary and arts competitions are to be organized in the seminary. The forum will also organize other academies and
cultural events during the academic year. Through various programmes and academic sessions CSLA continues to partake in the overall formation of the seminarians in the seminary.
There were many items classified under four strata namely onstage, off stage sports and games. Onstage items were, adapt tune, mono act, mimicry, poem recitation, devotional song, elocution or homily (English and Malayalam), fancy dress, group song, tableau and Bible theme presentation. Off-stage items were, essay writing (English and Malayalam) story writing (English and Malayalam), poem writing (English and Malayalam), haiku (English and Malayalam), pencil drawing, cartoon, painting and drama. Sports events were 100 meter, 200 meter, high jump, long jump, triple jump, shot put, javelin, discus, marathon, relay and group display. Games items were football, basket ball, volley ball badminton and table tennis. On 30th November, the event closed with a formal closing ceremony.
